Cafe Cruz in Soquel wanted to show off their awesome romantic ambiance – different areas inside and out on the patio that are all next to open fireplaces or fire pits. I was contacted by the publisher of Where to Retire magazine to photograph Pacific Grove Mayor Bill Kampe and his wife Cheryl – possibly for the cover of the publication. I met up with the down-to-earth, friendly couple on Lighthouse Ave. in the heart of downtown Pacific Grove this afternoon. One of the many requirements from the […]

Peggy and Lance are both into cameras, Lance himself specializing in nighttime architectural photography. But as is always the case in this situation, they really don’t have any photos of the two of them together. Enter: Me. We took a stroll during their lunch break through Fall Creek, just off Highway 9 in Felton. Here’s […]

They reviewed my work online and booked me for their upcoming wedding without even meeting me first. I could’ve been some psychopath that also happened to […]

When Kyle called about 30 minutes before we were supposed to meet, I tried to postpone on him due to the weather – but as he reminded me that Stephanie was due very soon, postponing wasn’t an option. Of course I mentally slapped myself, and shook off the rainy day attitude and quickly left to […]

Louis and Freneau are a loving couple that also happen to create some great spiritual music. Their goal for the photo shoot was to get some cover-worthy art for their next album. They picked the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco for the grand setting, where we met near sunset for our session. They […]

Not every couple I photograph is engaged or getting married – many are celebrating their Xth anniversaries, which I think is so cool! Ok, so maybe sometimes the guys are like “I’d rather be at home watching football, but my wife made me come here,” but by the end of the session even the reluctant […]

Sue wanted a special gift for her birthday this year, so she hired a pro photographer (yours truly) to help celebrate ten years of being together. Bill and Sue have had their fair share of life challenges, and I can tell you first hand their positive attitude towards the world has transformed their lives for […]

Michael lives and works here in the U.S., but he maintains a long distance relationship with his girlfriend, Cindy. It’s not a case of San Francisco vs. San Jose, either – she lives in Hong Kong! So to celebrate her visit (and probably so he remembers what she looks like after she’s gone!) Michael hired […]

Hollie and James have been married a couple years, and they just had their first baby. OK, so it’s a large puppy (Sheldon) – but everyone works at their own pace 🙂 They live in Felton, and are active outdoorspeople, so they wanted to go to a special place in the woods. It ended up […]
