This architecture & design firm needed to get a group photo of the two owners and staff of 8. Since it didn’t add to the up-front cost, we also got photos of each individual to potentially use in the About Us section of their website. Since I shoot on-location, the owner was gracious to show me around the offices so I could get a sense of potential shooting locations. I ended up using the stairway landing for the group shot, as getting some elevation makes sure nobody gets hidden behind others. Plus, some of their architecture work was prominently displayed on the wall, which ties the shot together nicely. I set up a couple light sources in a meeting room to get nice, dimensional head shots of each employee with a neutral, beige-y background. Lastly, I focused on portraits of the husband & wife team in a few different locations. Here’s my favorite photos from their group and individual business portrait session.

A GoodEye portrait is sure to stand out among the sea of crappy selfies or point and shoot photos! Based in Santa Cruz, but traveling all over the Bay Area and beyond, consider taking advantage of Chris’ talent to capture great photos of you and your staff.
