Sometimes a couple just clicks, and they don’t require a whole lot of interference on my part when it comes to fitting together in a photogenic way. I’m used to directing my couples a lot – where to put their hands, where to look, etc, but Lisa and Corey are naturals in front of the camera. Their natural abilities allowed me to focus more on the locations, lighting, and just exploring new ideas. If you’re familiar with my engagement sessions, you’ll see I follow a familiar route for most photos I take in Capitola – starting up by the mural and railroad tracks, and eventually making our way to the beach. But there’s nothing cookie-cutter about these two, and the photos are as unique as they are. Lovely couple, enjoy the pics!
