I had the pleasure of covering the 2011 State of the Valley conference this Friday, February 18th. There were so many inspiring speakers, most notably our 3rd President of the United States, Thomas Jefferson. At times the message was rather sobering – the state of our local, state and national economy and what needs to be done in order to prevent our children from inheriting the mess – but underlying everything was a consistent, positive message of hope, that we can use our collective intellect and desire to do good to overcome our weaknesses and persevere. I did my best to capture the spirit of the event through photography. Here are some select photos from the event below, or click through to www.GoodEyePhotography.com to view all 252 photos.
